Bourjois 123 Perfect CC cream in 32 Light Beige

A couple of months ago I gave in and bought this 123 Perfect CC cream from Bourjois when I was still in Dubai during a vacation trip. I wanted to try this ever since Amelia Liana from Youtube raved about this. This is actually the first CC cream that I've ever tried and as shocking as it may seem, I haven't even delved into the world of BB creams yet even though there was a lot of fuss about it a few years back. So when I was inside the Boots store in Marina Mall, my heart skipped a beat when I saw this in Bourjois' shelf. I was matched to the shade 32 or Light Beige. It is actually a perfect match for me and I absolutely love it. I got this for around 70 AED (around P800). Can't remember the exact price but it is more or less that.

This product has a slight smell, which I don't find to be bothersome since it fades after a while. I can't describe the scent but it reminds me of the chemical scent of cosmetics, if you know what I mean, but not in a bad way.

This CC cream gives a light to medium coverage. It is buildable but I find that it dries up easily so you have to work it out fast into your skin. You also have to be careful when you dispense the product because the tube can be quite tricky. I don't know if it's because of the pressure inside but it tends to squeeze out the product even without pressing or squeezing the actual tube. But it starts to act normally after you've used up quite a bit of the product inside. You really have to be careful though especially when you're using it for the first few times to also prevent wasting the product.

I love the finish of this CC cream because it makes your skin look flawless without making you look too made up. It gives off a natural, dewy look that is more of like a satin finish. It's not matte but has this somewhat luminous glow to it. I also love that it's not cakey and it doesn't crease on my face, if that makes any sense. I also love the fact that it doesn't oxidize on my skin since I'm acidic.

The only thing that I'm not happy about this is that it tends to emphasize dry patches on my face (aside from the fact that it isn't available locally). I have combination oily/dry skin and my cheeks are very dry or flaky at times. I have to make sure that I moisturize intensely to prevent the dry patches from appearing. So if you have very dry skin I think that you might not like this as much. One trick that I do to make this work on me is to not use a brush but a wet sponge (I use the Real Techniques one) to apply it all over my face. This way it doesn't disturb and make the dry patches peek through.

On me this lasted for about 4-5 hours. At the third hour mark, I find that I start to get a teenie tiny bit oily on my t-zone but nothing too serious that a puff of powder couldn't fix.

I enjoy using this CC cream although I'm trying my best not to use it all up at once because I can't get ahold of this locally. I hope brands like Bourjois would start to finally come here in the Philippines so we wouldn't have a hard time scouring the internet world for their products. ;)
