Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff

Glossier is one of the brands that I've always seen being used and raved about by many of my favorite youtubers. However, I haven't really tried any of their products then because it can be difficult to get ahold of here and, imo, can be quite expensive too. But I've always liked their minimalist and neat vibe, and I have always been curious about their Cloud Paints for some time now.

Glossier is a bit difficult to purchase here in Manila since you can only get it online from stores like BeautyMNL. It can be quite expensive and if you are going to buy from other online stores, such as on Instagram or Shopee, you really have to check its authenticity since it is one of those products that are easily counterfeited. And I've seen quite a lot of fake Glossier Cloud Paints online and at first glance most of them look like the real ones. However, some are obviously fake just by basing on how cheap it's being sold online. But there are others that are a bit difficult to figure out especially those being sold around the same price as the authentic ones. Before I bought mine, I read reviews of other buyers from the same shop first just to be sure.

I purchased the Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff for P1,100 excluding shipping fee from derosee.ph

Glossier can be quite expensive and for the sake of trying it I only bought one. However, after using it for some time now, I'm tempted to try Dusk and Beam as well haha!

This product actually comes with a box but I already threw mine away as soon as I received it. Due to the current situation, I usually sanitize my purchases as soon as they arrive at my doorstep.

The Cloud Paints are housed in a tube that is quite smooth in texture and flexible. The tube actually feels sturdy and luxurious. It's not flimsy in any way and once you press it, it can go back to its original shape although it can have smalls dents over time due to usage.

The Cloud Paints contain 10ml of product which is a little amount relative to its price. But if you're into Glossier and minimalist products like this then I think you'll enjoy this product.

The Glossier name can be found on the back along with other product information at the top and bottom of the tube. This product has a shelf-life of 6 months only which is quite fast. If you're going to use this on a daily basis then I think you'll be able to use it up just in time.

But if you're like me who doesn't wear blush all the time then it can be quite disappointing. I also have other blushes that I use in rotation so I really don't think I'll be able to use this all up within that time frame. But in reality, I do not usually follow stuff like that and I still use some of my makeup beyond the given time frame as long as I know that they're properly stored, cleaned, and if I find that they're still holding up pretty well. Am I the only one who does that? Haha!

The color of the cap is a tad bit similar to the shade of the actual product. I actually like that added touch and that the top of the tube has a bit of strip the same shade as that of the product too.

When you twist open the cap for the first time, the tube is sealed so you know that it's really new and fresh.

The product comes out easily once you press the tube. I have experienced a bit of spillage once when I stored this in my makeup bin. I opened it and some product spurted out. There was also this one time when I pressed the tube and a lot of product came out. But I think the last one has something more to do with the way I pressed the tube haha!

The product goes on smoothly on the cheeks so there's no tugging at all which I love!! The texture is liquidy but not runny. It somewhat feels like a gel similar to how it's described in the Glossier site. The Cloud Paints are described as "seamless, buildable gel-cream blush that’s fun and easy to wear." These blushes are also cruelty-free as with all of the other Glossier products.

This Cloud Paint in the shade Puff goes on to give a peachy-pink flush on the cheeks which is really gorgeous! I actually felt as fresh as a tomato when I wore this on my cheeks haha! The product is matte when swatched but the finish that it gives on the cheeks is dewy.

The product doesn't have any scent at all and there are no glitters or glitter-like particles on it when swatched. I've read some reviews online where they bought the Glossier Cloud Paint in Storm to find some glitter-like particles on it. The seller emailed Glossier to ask and she got a reply which stated that those particles are normal and are actually luminous natural mica used to give that slight glowy effect to it. My friend also observed this on her Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk that she bought online too but from a different store.

This blush lasted on me for about 5 hours. After that mark, there was still a slight hint of color on my cheeks but I found that reapplication is already necessary at that point. I used this on my bare face and my cheeks are fairly oily so that's quite impressive for me. I'm actually not sure if my cheeks have become oilier compared to before because of the sunscreen that I'm currently using or it's just a sign of aging hahahuhu! Just kidding!

Overall, I've enjoyed this product and will keep using it! Now I'm back to contemplating which shade to try next haha! 😅

How about you have you tried any of the Glossier products and what did you like the most? Have you tried the Glossier Cloud Paints and did you enjoy them as well? 😀
