For today's post, I'll be sharing some of the things I purchased during our trip to Korea in 2017. It's been a while now but I still wanted to share these things and, most of them, I bought because they're too cute to leave behind haha! But since it's been a while already, I'm not sure if these are all still available or if the prices are still the same. Anyway, I'll try my best to put all the info, as I remember them, including prices and where I bought them for your reference. 😊

KOREA HAUL
I'm Meme I'm Bare Skin Tone Color Foundation in 002 Natural + Unboxing Vlog
I first discovered I'm Meme, a fairly affordable Korean makeup brand, when I was browsing Shopee. I liked how affordable it is and I was also drawn to it too because of its concept - recyclable packaging and natural makeup look in one. So I decided to do a makeup haul for this brand & did an unboxing vlog on it too which you can check out HERE. You can also find the Youtube video I did on it at the end of this post. For now, scroll down to check out my take on the I'm Meme I'm Bare Skin Tone Color Foundation! 😊
The I'm Meme I'm Bare Skin Tone Color Foundation (SPF 45 PA++, 30ml) has a simple, sleek and neat packaging. It's quite small which makes it easy to tote around with you such as when you're travelling. I love the theme and concept of this brand, as I've said, because it's kind of refreshing and new to me. It feels like nature, goodness and simplicity all rolled into one.
I bought this foundation HERE for P527 but it is currently being sold for P406. I've chosen the shade 002 Natural for this foundation to try.
It has a minty scent to it as soon as you pump out the product. I find it quite overwhelming at first but the scent fades away eventually so it's not as bothersome as it initially seems. I usually use about 2-3 pumps on each side of my face as the finish is quite light and thin. The pump also works really well too and dispenses just the right amount of product to use.
I usually apply this on my face using a damp cushion sponge. The texture is creamy while the finish is dewy & velvety at the same time. It feels a tad bit heavy and sticky at first application but it becomes much more comfortable as it settles down. I find that it isn't drying at all and it doesn't accentuate any dry patches on the face.
I first tried this foundation a couple of months back when the weather was still cold. During that time I didn't have much of a problem with it because I didn't really sweat like a pig (like now) haha. I initially really enjoyed using this foundation since, as I've said in my last BB cream review, that I don't wear heavy makeup anymore. I also just liked how this foundation looked so natural on me.
However, during this summer I was able to test it out more. I found that it didn't really measure up to my expectations such as when I consider its longevity for its price. I'd still use the same amount just as I'd usually do while focusing on parts where my skin is really problematic. But since it's quite light and thin in terms of coverage, it doesn't last as much as I'd like it to.
This foundation is perfect for those with already good skin but want something more to brighten or liven up their skin tone, and if you aren't really particular about reapplying through out the day. It does feel very light as if you're not wearing anything on which is why, sadly, it also doesn't really cover blemishes and marks very well. Wearing this foundation during this time of the year only gave me about 2-3 hours of wear (oily skin) compared to about 3-5 hours of wear during colder months.
Here's the swatch of this foundation in the second shade, 002 Natural. Excuse my very dry hands/arms as it was quite flaky during the time I filmed this swatch for my vlog due to the cold weather haha. 😅
I'd say it's not the best or one of the best foundations out there for me when I consider longevity and coverage versus its price. If you're thinking of trying a new foundation or BB cream then I suggest just skipping this one out and trying other products, such as the Missha BB Cream, which I gave a review on HERE.
But if you're still on the lookout for other products to try from I'm Meme then their pep! balms and I'm Bare Cheek Liquid Blush, which are my favorites, are definitely much more worth your while (and money hehe). Will try to do a review or swatches post here on my blog in the weeks to come so stay tuned for that!

I've recently posted a video of my Lip Tint Collection on my Youtube channel so I decided to do a blog post for my readers here. Scroll down to read about it and to see what lip tint products are in my collection. You can also check out my vlog which I've linked at the end of this post. Enjoy and let me know what your favorite lip tint products are in the comment section! 😁
First up are these Etude House Dear Darling Gel Tint (Ice cream) in RD308 and PK004. I purchased these from my friend who bought two sets of these DD Gel Tints when she went to Korea. I got each for only P180. These smell and taste really good! The pink one fades easily while the red one lasts well enough.
Next are also from Etude House which are the Dear Darling Water Gel Tints (Renewed) in RD302, RD305, PK002 and PK003. Click HERE if you want to check out my review on these very affordable and tasty lip tints!
These next ones are, again, from Etude House and these are the Water Tints in 01 Strawberry Ade and 02 Cherry Ade. I purchased these cute tints at the Incheon International Airport during our trip to Korea. I think I only got these for only P160 each when converted. As the name suggests these are very watery so I don't find them to be very long lasting.
The next ones are the Saem Mousse Candy Tint in Raspberry and Jelly Candy Tint in Candylicious. Both of these lip tints are very long lasting especially the Mousse Candy Tint. These smell and taste really good too! These were also directly purchased in Korea by my friend. I specifically asked for her to buy these for me since they are so hard to find here in Manila. Out of all the lip tints I own, these the Saem tints are one of my ultimate favorites!
I purchased these next tints during a trip to Thailand and I'm so glad I did! Apart from the Saem tints, these Mistine Dream Lip and Tint (#1 Pink and #3 Red) are one of my favorites. These taste quite good and are very long lasting too. It comes with a magic lip balm on one end, which turns from clear to pink when applied, and the actual lip tint on the other end. The colors are also very vibrant although there are only three shades available for these lip tints (pink, red and orange). Unfortunately, it's quite difficult to find a shop that sells these tints here in Manila.
The last tints in my collection are the: A'pieu Vitamin Oil Tint, Holika Holika Lazy & Joy Lip All Night Tint Drop the Cherry in RD04, A'pieu x Rilakkuma Lipstick in RD04 Milano, Mistine Pink Magic Lip Plus Vitamin E - Strawberry and Vtint Lip and Cheek Water Tint.
I purchased the A'pieu and Holika Holika ones from Korea while the Mistine Lip Balm and Vtint Lip Tint were purchased from Boots and 7-11 Thailand, respectively. The A'pieu x Rilakkuma one isn't really a lip tint but I included it since I also use it for a gradient lip look similar to how I use my lip tints.
These are the swatches of the lip tint products in my small collection:
Row 1: Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tints (Renewed) in RD302, RD305, PK002 and PK003.
Row 2: Etude House Dear Darling Gel Tint (Ice cream) in RD308 and PK004; the Saem Mousse Candy Tint in Raspberry and Jelly Candy Tint in Candylicious.
Row 4: Mistine Dream Lip and Tint in #1 Pink and #3 Red; Etude House
Water Tints in 01 Strawberry Ade and 02 Cherry Ade; Vtint Lip and Cheek Water Tint. Row 5: A'pieu Vitamin Oil Tint, Holika Holika Lazy & Joy Lip All Night Tint Drop the Cherry in RD04, A'pieu x Rilakkuma Lipstick in RD04 Milano and Mistine Pink Magic Lip Plus Vitamin E - Strawberry.

Hello and Happy New Year everyone! I've been missing in action for quite some time now but hope everyone is having a wonderful January so far! 😁
I’ve seen this Korean makeup brand, Romand, countless times on Youtube and on Instagram. Many rave about their lip products that’s why I wanted to test it out to see for myself. So to start the year off, I'll be reviewing these new lip tints I purchased from Romand. You can only get this online for the time being as they don’t have any physical stores here yet. But read on to find out why I found that it’s definitely worth the wait.
The Romand lip products that I purchased are called the Zero Velvet Tints. True to its name, it's not your ordinary lip tint as they have a mousse type texture that leaves a velvety, soft finish as it dries. I was actually a bit confused since these feel more like a liquid lipstick compared to how regular lip tints I'm used to would. It feels slightly like it’s sitting on top of your lips - not in a bothersome way - which makes it not transfer-proof.
There is a slight floral fragrance and taste to it. Not too strong and bothersome as it doesn't linger. However, if you’re looking for lip tints with great longevity then this won’t be your cup of tea.
The applicator is something new for me as well. It’s quite longer, more tapered and flatter at the end than what I’m used to. The tip is quite sharp which helps apply the product well enough.
The two shades I purchased are #04 Burnt Heart and #18 Petal Tassel. Some of their bestsellers based on what I've seen that are usually out of stock are the shades #16 Burny Nude and #17 Toasty Nude. I was really eyeing #14 Pecan Tarte and #16 Burny Nude but thought that the former was too dark for my current preference while the latter was already sold out.
Burntheart was love at first swipe and I didn't think it would be. The formula is very comfortable even though I didn’t think I’d like it at first because I was expecting it to be more mauve-y. But I still found the color very flattering on me so I was really happy about that. This is a reddish brown lip tint, which is the kind of shade that I think would look good on many skin tones. This shade got me really hooked at first swipe.
Initially, I purchased Pecan Tart and Petal Tassel but my order got canceled. I then reevaluated the shades I chose and, as I've said earlier, found Pecan Tarte quite dark for my liking. I ended up buying Burnt Heart and Petal Tassel instead and I'm not regretting it in any way.
Petal Tassel is the perfect everyday, MLBB shade. This is a winner for me because the shade is mauve-y and, which you already know by now if you've been reading this blog for quite a while, is one of my fave shades of lip product. At first swipe it looks a bit light (as can also be seen on official swatches of Romand) on the lips but it oxides into a mauve-y, rose color. It is also very comfortable to wear but I find that I need to moisturize my lips well enough first to prevent it from accentuating any lines.
UPDATE: Here are more swatches of these Romand Velvet Tints.
I love the velvet finish of these - something new and fun compared to regular lip tints I've tried in the past. I also like the fact that you can use it full on or for creating a gradient lip look. I find though that these appear darker on arm swatches than it would when applied on the lips so it was a bit trickier to swatch and show you.
I purchased mine HERE where the Zero Velvet Tints #1-17, including #04 Burnt Heart, are P395 each while #18-21, including #18 Petal Tassel, are P399 each. I've also seen their official shop in Shopee HERE, if you want to check it out although I haven't tried buying from them yet. The official store sells it at a much more affordable price but I was still able to buy mine cheaper because of vouchers and free shipping.
What's your most recent makeup brand or product discovery? Have you tried the Romand Velvet Tints yet? 😊
I've done a couple of What's in My Makeup Bag posts in the past such as this and this. These posts were mostly travel edition ones but I have never done a current WIMMB post ever! I love doing these kinds of posts since I'm nosy like that haha. I also enjoy reading or watching these kinds of content since I'm very curious about what other people use, such as what products work for them or not. So recently, I decided to do one since I just also launched a vlog channel and I wanted to put up a content such as that there.
If you want to know what's currently in my makeup bag, in video format, then here's the one I created for my channel. If you prefer to see it right away then scroll past this video to start! 😊
